This enormous outdoor mall in Irvine is well-known for its impressive exterior architecture which was inspired by the Alhambra in Granada, Spain — as well as its seemingly endless opportunities to shop and dine.

Here, guests will find an assortment of trendy cafés and restaurants, a collection of live entertainment and events including The Improv Comedy Club, and an enormous movie theatre complex. The antique-themed Carousel and 108-foot Giant Wheel are two other attractions on-site not to be missed.

Uma and her husband originally came from India as students along with their 3 year old son 30 years ago. She did her MBA at University of Nevada, Reno. She moved to Irvine, CA with her family after graduation and is currently living there. She has a MS in Accounting and a Certification similar to CMA from India. She started her Career with Arthur Anderson and moved on to Other consulting companies as an Oracle Financials’ Consultant for more than 15 years, travelling throughout US and Canada.

She joined Metrolink 6 years ago as an IT Lead in Oracle Finance and Procurement. She is currently working as an IT Architect supporting and implementing Oracle projects for Finance and Procurement teams. Uma has been a board member for the Southwest Regional Oracle Applications Users Group (SROAUG) for the past 17 years. She enjoys travelling with her husband and in her free time, plays Indian classical music on Veena, an Indian string Instrument. She also performs in concerts a couple of times in a year.
